Aloha! I’m Pua Kānealiʻi, and I serve as the NDI Chair for the Hawaii Pacific District. I was elected to this role in 2023 and am grateful for the opportunity to serve our district by supporting ministry with children and families. I also have the privilege of coordinating our district children’s camp, creating spaces where keiki can grow in their faith, feel loved, and experience the joy of belonging in God’s family.

I serve as a pastor on the island of Molokaʻi, and my heart is deeply rooted in nurturing children and walking alongside them as they discover who God created them to be. I believe that when children are welcomed, taught, and cared for with intention, they are able to grow strong in faith and community.

I am honored to be the only Native Hawaiian woman currently ordained as an elder in our district, and I pray that this will be the first of many to come. My hope is to continue serving with humility and faithfulness, encouraging our churches to invest in the next generation and the vital role they play in the life of the church.

I am married to my husband, Ryan, and together we are blessed with six beautiful keiki who are at the heart of our ‘ohana.
